Fire Alarm Inspector

About the role

A full-time, enthusiastic, results-driven Fire Alarm Inspector to join our amazing culture. Assist with testing and inspecting fire-alarm systems in assigned buildings, identifying and reporting any problems or deficiencies found.

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect commercial fire-alarm systems within assigned buildings.
• Identify and report problems or discrepancies found in the systems you inspect.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with all inspections and testing.
• Maintain the fire-alarm panel.
• Interact with building owner or building engineer prior to, during, and following completion of the testing process.
• Review reports and initiate next steps as necessary.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum Experience: 1 year relevant field service or customer service.
• PREFERRED EXPERIENCE (but not required): Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronics, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation.

Pay

The expected compensation range for this position is between $19 to $22 an hour, depending on experience.
