Summary/Objective

Process vehicles to prepare for pick and delivery.

Essential Functions

  • Drive vehicles in shop to process.
  • Place throw-in items in vehicles such as mats and books.
  • Change lug nuts.
  • Place a label on vehicle.
  • Drive vehicles out of the shop to appropriate location.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct reports.

Work Environment

Well-lighted, heated indoor office, production, setting, outdoor/indoor shop environment or enclosed vehicle with adequate ventilation and protection from extreme weather conditions.

Physical Demands

Light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative or production/technical nature. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily 8 hours each day, Monday through Friday on a day shift. This position often requires overtime.

Travel

This position does not have any travel requirements.

Required Education And Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education And Experience

  • One-year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent education and experience.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be able to obtain TWIC badge (Transportation Working Identification Card). Must have a valid Driver’s License.

This position offers an hourly rate of $18.00 per hour.
