About the role
This role combines valuation experience with technology to investigate differences across valuation models, support onboarding reviews, and help improve the processes and tools used to deliver technology-enabled valuation solutions to clients.
Responsibilities
- Compare valuation results across proprietary models for new and existing client portfolios.
- Investigate differences in inputs, assumptions, calculations, market data, security mapping, model setup, and outputs to identify where results diverge.
- Identify whether differences are caused by source data, user inputs, model configuration, software issues, or expected variations in methodology.
- Partner with portfolio valuation teams to review findings, agree on issue classification, and determine the appropriate resolution.
- Assess whether identified differences are material or recurring, prioritize the follow-up work, and bring significant valuation, methodology, data, or software issues to senior team members.
- Maintain a clear record of findings, decisions, supporting evidence, and agreed solutions, then retest changes to confirm that each issue is resolved.
- Document software issues clearly so developers can reproduce, prioritize, and resolve them.
- Support onboarding validation by confirming that portfolio data, security mappings, model configurations, and valuation results meet agreed readiness and acceptance criteria.
- Turn recurring findings into stronger processes, validation checks, training materials, and technology enhancements.
