About the role

To clean, finish, and deburr products following Arthrex Manufacturing, Inc. processes and procedures to ensure superior quality is provided to our clients.

Night Shift (Monday through Thursday, 7:30 pm to 6 am) at our Pendleton, SC manufacturing location.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently follow operating procedures
  • Consistently meet the productivity and quality goals set
  • Able to perform different tasks/operations necessary to properly manufacture the product
  • Able to determine the materials and tools required to perform the operation
  • Properly encode production activity and output in manufacturing software
  • Consistently key in accurate time in SAP to reflect true time spent on jobs

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Full working knowledge of mechanical equipment
  • Good eye/hand dexterity
  • Ability to be detail-oriented
  • Ability to deburr, tumble, sandblast, polish, and finish metals
  • Manual dexterity

Skills

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
  • Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job
  • Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job
  • Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management
  • Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures

Physical Demands

  • Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
  • Visual acuity necessary to do the job safely and effectively
