Our Company JK Findings is a global jewelry component manufacturer and wholesaler located in Rochester, NY. Our customers, located in over 48 countries, entrust us as a key supplier of quality components and supplies. In our Upstate New York headquarters, we house some of the most advanced equipment available to produce new and unique components for the jewelry industry. The Finishing Room Operator ensures manufactured jewelry components meet appearance and handling standards by preparing parts for final use. In this mid-level, onsite role in Rochester, NY, you will operate finishing equipment and follow established methods to support consistent, high-quality output.
Responsibilities
- Clean, polish, deburr, and shine manufactured product using approved solutions, procedures, and machines
- Set up and run finishing processes while monitoring quality and throughput
- Organize work, prioritize multiple items, and communicate status or issues to the team

Schedule
As a Finishing Room Operator, your day follows a steady Monday-Thursday schedule (5:40 a.m.-4:10 p.m.), with Friday overtime when needed. You’ll start by reviewing the day’s priorities, gathering parts and materials, and confirming the correct solutions and machine settings. Throughout the shift, you’ll move batches through the finishing area, perform routine checks for consistency in surface appearance, and document any exceptions for follow-up. You’ll coordinate closely with coworkers to keep work flowing, maintain an orderly workspace, and wrap up by staging completed items for the next step.
