Responsibilities
- Set up all sections of the folder gluer machine per job specification.
- Set up Leary detection system.
- Adjust machine for production runs of various carton shapes, ensuring properly folded cartons with adequate glue adhesion.
- Perform quality checks in full compliance with the quality system.
- Record all required run data and maintain accurate time sheets.
- Perform routine maintenance, machine cleaning, and preventative maintenance inspections of the folder-gluer machine and gluing & detection system.
- Identify deficiencies in folder-gluers and gluing & detection systems; request needed parts for repairs and assist in repairs as needed.
- Work with Packaging Engineers and Sales personnel to develop new products and evaluate production capabilities.
- Oversee work throughput and quality of Folder Gluer Assistants assigned to your machine.
- Responsible for the outcome of all projects running on the die cutting machine.

Work Environment
Work exclusively in the production area with light and heavy equipment, standing and walking during the entire shift. Tasks may involve bending, reaching, squatting, and climbing onto machines for repairs, maintenance, or setup. Exposed to elevated noise levels; hearing protection is mandatory while in the production area.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Folding or Gluing Machine Operator at a printing company (standout qualification).
- GED or High School Equivalent (minimum education requirement).
- Reliability is preferred.
