Finisher/Sewer

Essential Functions

• Measure merchandise and compare to Work Order specifications
• Standard & Overlap Machine, big banner, prepare for whole job.
• Knowing how to read measurements, inches and convert inches to decimals
• Follow Finishing Instructions on Work Order and make sure that merchandise meets client's expectations
• Sew or weld edges and/or pole pockets according to Work Order specifications if necessary
• Build and Assemble frames to specifications when needed
• Apply grommets according to Work Order specifications if necessary
• Measure again to make sure Finishing job has not changed size of merchandise
• Move the Work Order in stage management using the computer database
• Check that all information regarding Work Order/merchandise is correct before accepting job
• Perform Finishing duties perfectly and check that all information is correct regarding Work Order/merchandise before giving the job to the next stage of Production
