Finisher II

About the role

Moog is the worldwide leader of advanced flight controls and actuation for commercial and military aircraft. The Space and Defense Group team in East Aurora, NY is seeking a Finisher II to work on both the 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Responsibilities

• Interpret operation sheets, blueprints, sketches, and bodies to plan the entire sequence of work.
• Select, sharpen, and/or fabricate special tooling as required.
• Choose lighting aids, inspection gauges, and visual magnification to meet quality specifications.
• Perform work on complex bodies with multi‑internal hole intersections, and on occasion handle all work performed by Finisher II employees.
• Instruct and assist Finisher II employees on new jobs and methods.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred; otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer work instructions in English.
• Demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Finisher in a machine‑shop setting.

Pay

Hourly salary range: $24.00 – $28.00 (base range; actual salary varies by location, experience, and performance). Includes shift differential and eligibility for bonuses and other compensation components.

Schedule

On‑site work in Buffalo, NY, on the 2nd and 3rd shifts.
