Responsible for performing all marine finishing operations including layout and installation of electronics, plumbing, seats, and related components.
Responsibilities
- Installs wiring, plumbing, electronics, seats, and consoles using a variety of hand tools.
- Assists in pick, move, and set up of vessels using lifting and towing equipment.
- Maintains tools and cleans department/cart before the end of each shift.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (minimum degree required).
- Safety-conscious with an understanding of SDS documentation for chemicals used in production.
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions.
- Light lifting (under 20 lbs) and moderate lifting (21–59 lbs).
- Light carrying (under 20 lbs) and moderate carrying (21–59 lbs).
- Straight pulling, pushing, repeated bending, reaching over shoulders, use of fingers, walking, standing, kneeling, and repeated stretching.
- Specific visual requirements, including ability to distinguish basic colors and shades of color.
- Hearing ability (aids permitted).
Work Environment
- Inside and outside work environments.
- Exposure to extreme heat, humidity, intermittent extreme noise, dust, fumes, smoke, gases, and solvents (degreasing agents).
- Slippery or uneven walking surfaces.
Independent Judgement
Performs tasks under general supervision using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems, with occasional independent judgment required. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
