Finisher - 3rd Shift

About the role

We are looking for a Finisher to join our team in Killingly, Connecticut. The Finisher is responsible for performing all finishing processes including Washing (Automatic and Tumbling), Oiling, and other related tasks. This role ensures operations comply with EPA and OSHA regulations and SPIROL general safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate finishing equipment and maintain compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Verify that all equipment, containers, processing baskets, and drums are clean and free of debris or contamination before processing.
• Check temperatures to ensure they are within acceptable levels prior to processing.
• Review the Job Card and Product Drawing to follow routing instructions and special notes.
• Process products in accordance with work instructions; notify supervisor of any questions or issues.
• At job completion, review the work order to ensure all prior routing steps are signed off, containers are identified, and all requirements are met.
• Operate multiple finishing processes simultaneously under normal conditions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area at all times.
• Perform dock audits and sorting as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Classroom or on-the-job training in environmental management, including hazardous waste material.
• Mechanical aptitude and mathematical proficiency.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs. using approved lifting techniques.
