Position Summary
This position is responsible for performing any job duties required in the finish / assembly area and a minimum of one higher skill level position associated with the area. Jobs include all Finisher 1 jobs as well as Inspector and Hydrotesting.
Essential Functions
- Work safely in accordance with regulations, standards, and procedures in a manner that eliminates risk to health and the environment.
- Notify leadership of unsafe conditions or practices unlawful activities and activities which present unreasonable health and/or environmental risk.
- Report all safety and/or environmental incidents to leadership immediately.
- Follow required instructions for assembly, packaging, processing and inspection of final product.
- Perform quality inspections of packaging materials and final product as it is packaged.
- Assure all documents required are properly completed.
- Assure all packages and disks are labeled properly.
- Assure final product meets customer requirements.
- Must use frequent physical effort to perform job duties.
- Able to foster professionalism with all associates along with internal and external customers.
- Monitor and follow all safety preventative measures and practices, including 5S+ safety guidelines.
Department Specific / Non-Essential Functions
- Participate in peer-based teams (i.e., Natural High Performance Teams), and work with groups to initiate and implement programs such as Lean Manufacturing and 5-S.
- Participate on project teams, star point teams and kaizen events when needed.
- Attend and participate in all training opportunities required to develop in the role.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in manufacturing preferred.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to operate material handling equipment.
- Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures.
- Lift/Carry: Up to 10 lbs (Occasional), 11-20 lbs (Occasional), 21-50 lbs (Frequent).

- Reach Below Knee (Continuous).
- Push/Pull (Continuous).

Working Conditions
- High noise levels from operating machines and equipment.
- Physical hazards from operating machines and moving reels.
- Work in areas where safety equipment will be required (steel toe shoes, eye protection, hearing protection, high visibility clothing).
- Standing is required for extended periods of time. Walking, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, turning, twisting, squatting, and lifting is performed on a regular basis.
- Requires high degree of manual dexterity, which could be performed under restrictive conditions.
- Requires flexible hours and short notice for overtime.
Organizational Relationships
- Report directly to Value Stream Team Leader.
- Work closely with other departments to resolve issues with the processes & equipment.
