Finished Goods Loader

About the role

The Finished Goods Loader at Darling Ingredients is responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading finished products using various types of vehicles and equipment. This role involves obtaining proper samples for lab analysis, weighing trucks after loading, completing documentation, and turning into scale or dispatcher. Additionally, the position requires general cleaning duties and adherence to all company safety rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload finished products from tankers, railcars, meal trucks, and trailers.
• Obtain proper samples and send them to the lab for analysis while maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Weigh trucks after loading and document accordingly.
• Perform general cleaning tasks in work areas.
• Maintain safety standards as per company policies.
• Assist with other tasks as directed.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience preferred.
• Able to operate non-CLD industrial vehicles/equipment (e.g., backhoe, telehandler, yard dog truck).

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience in loader operation and maintenance.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Able to work nights and/or weekends as needed.
• Bilingual in Spanish highly desirable.
• Applicant availability for either shift preferred.
