Responsibilities

  • Customer Experience: Create an exceptional shopping experience by addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and ensuring high standards of customer service.
  • Sales & Performance: Drive store sales and profitability through effective merchandise management, promotional strategies, and achieving sales targets.
  • Operational Excellence: Participate in daily operations including inventory management, visual merchandising, shipment workflow, order fulfillment, and store maintenance. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store sales and operational goals. Adhere to store policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
  • Additional duties and projects as required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in retail or a similar role, with a track record of achieving sales targets preferred.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems.
  • A set, weekly availability, including a mix of mornings, days, and nights, based on business needs.
  • Availability to work on weekends and holidays as required.
  • Consistent punctuality and regular attendance in line with company policies.
  • Clear spoken English to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and basic math in English to handle business tasks and understand sales reports.
  • Must be at least 18 years or older (individuals 16 years or older may be eligible in select locations: AL, AZ, AR, CO, FL, GA, ID, IN, KS, KY, MD, ME, MN, MO, NC, NV, NH, NM, OH, OK, RI, SC, TN, TX, VA, WI, WY).

Physical Demands

  • Prolonged standing approximately four to 14 hours per day.
  • Stooping and kneeling to place merchandise on customers’ feet, as well as reaching and pulling to stock merchandise on storage racks.
  • May be required to climb a ladder or ascend/descend stairs to stock or acquire merchandise.
  • Regularly lift items weighing 5–25 lbs; occasionally heavier items may be required.
  • Good vision, including color differentiation.
  • Work environment is a moderately noisy retail setting.

Pay

Store Associate pay range: $15.92 - $16.42 per hour. This role is eligible for the company 401K plan.
