Finish Carpenter Employee

About the role

AFI is seeking Finish Carpenter Employees to support the growth of our business. The ideal candidate should have experience using table saws, chop saws, band saws, sanders, and other electric or air power tools. AFI will train all other aspects of the job.

Responsibilities

• Build patterns from sketches/drawings
• Build frames for molds and make side boards, split boards, stop-offs for patterns and molds
• Perform general carpentry work
• Clean assigned area after use and maintain general housekeeping
• Perform any other duties as requested by the supervisor

Requirements

• Organized and self-motivated
• Able to communicate professionally
• Experience using table saws, chop saws, band saws, sanders, and other electric or air power tools
• Willingness to learn and put forth best efforts

Qualifications

• General carpentry skills

Skills

• Proficiency with table saws, chop saws, band saws, sanders, and other power tools
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/sketches
• Strong organizational and communication skills
