Fine Jewelry Merchandise Supervisor - Promenade Fultondale

About the role

As a Fine Jewelry Supervisor at JCPenney, you will supervise and engage a team of Fine Jewelry associates to deliver an exceptional shopping experience that delights customers and builds long-term loyalty. You will provide outstanding customer service, lead sales floor operations, manage staff scheduling, and drive dynamic leadership to consistently execute strategies that boost sales.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Model and hold the team accountable for outstanding customer service. Actively listen to and resolve customer issues. Maximize sales and service by ensuring appropriate staff scheduling. Drive planning and execution of events and credit card acquisition.
• Sales: Challenge yourself and the team to drive profitable sales growth through supervision and engagement. Coach and develop the team by modeling JCPenney’s company values to build lasting customer relationships that enhance productivity and sales.
• Merchandise Flow & Placement: Provide direction and support to ensure merchandise flows efficiently to the sales floor. Work with your team to maintain stock levels and presentation standards.
• Team Development: Partner with store management to source and hire talent for hourly positions. Play an active role in training and developing associates, provide in-the-moment coaching, address performance issues, and collaborate with the General Manager on succession planning.
• Performance Standards: Consistently meet established performance standards, including shrink and safety initiatives, Omnichannel efficiency, scheduling, associate relations, engagement, customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of retail experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
