About the Role
Grasslands Club is seeking polished, personable Dining Hosts to welcome members into a fine dining atmosphere in the Nashville area. We have three openings—one full-time and two part-time—for experienced hospitality professionals who understand that exceptional service begins the moment a guest walks through the door. As the face of our fine dining club restaurant, you'll set the tone for an elevated member experience while being part of a club that invests in your growth, whether through career advancement or building a standout fine dining resume.
Located northeast of Nashville in Gallatin, Tennessee, Grasslands Club is a fully private golf and country club on a beautiful lakefront property. Members enjoy two clubhouses with multiple private dining outlets, a full-service event center, two lakeside pools, championship golf courses, a short course, a teaching facility, fitness centers, and a racquet sports complex. Our dining program upholds a fine dining standard—polished service, refined presentation, and genuine hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first and last touchpoint of every member’s dining experience, greeting members and guests by name whenever possible.
- Manage reservations and seating with a fine dining level of care, ensuring seamless dining room operations during service.
- Coordinate closely with servers and management to anticipate members' needs proactively.
- Maintain composure and organization under pressure, handling reservations, seating charts, and shifting priorities.
Requirements
- Prior experience in fine dining, upscale casual, or private club hospitality.
- Polished, professional communication skills and a warm, welcoming presence.
- Composure and organization in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.
- A sharp eye for detail and a proactive, member-first mindset.
- Flexibility to work a mix of days, nights, weekends, and holidays aligned with peak club activity.
