Rydal Park & Waters, a premier Life Plan Community located in Jenkintown, is hiring a Cook to join our team!

About the role

This position requires every-other weekend availability. Shifts are a mix of 11a-7p and 6a-2p.

Responsibilities

• The Cook’s primary objective is the preparation of food items to ensure high standard of quality and quantity to meet the needs of the residents.
• You would be handling food in accordance with sanitary standards and recognized food preparation standards.
• Cooking meals from scratch for our fine dining restaurant as well as our assisted living and skilled nursing departments.

Requirements

• Scratch cooking experience (must have)
• Fine dining experience (must have)
• Always looking to gain knowledge from your cooking experiences
• Care about the quality of food you create and offer
• Understand and properly follow sanitizing procedures

Qualifications

• Culinary education preferred

Pay

Rate: $17-20 depending on experience
