Financial Systems Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Staffing the program with team members capable of performing interface design, development, and testing work, as well as conversion design, development, and test activities.
• Managing a program with at least 50 team members.
• Familiarity with the Agile Framework.
• Familiarity with VA’s VIP software delivery process.
• Knowledgeable about Momentum Financials and Acquisition.
• Knowledgeable on conversion approaches used in Momentum implementations as well as approaches to implement batch and real-time interfaces with Momentum.
• Working cooperatively with FMBT Systems Integrators.
• Providing regular progress reports to the designated VA FMBT Interface Lead and to the VA FMBT Conversion Lead.
• Providing weekly updates to the SI to support the weekly FMBT status meeting for VA management.

Qualifications

• Required Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree and 17 years of experience, or Masters and 15 years of experience, plus an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Financial Management Systems industry experience: 15 years.
• Project Management experience: 10 years as a PM, leading a team of 50+ team members.
• Momentum project experience: 10 years as a Program Manager supporting a Momentum project.
• Agile project management experience: At least 2 years.
• Citizenship: U.S. Citizen.
• Security Clearance: Public Trust clearance required.
