Financial Systems Program Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, execution-oriented Finance Systems Analyst to support Core Finance participation in commercial launches, enterprise system initiatives, and cross-functional transformation projects. This role serves as an execution partner to the Finance Transformation team, helping reduce the operational burden on Core Finance Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) by owning the tactical work required to successfully support commercial launches, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and cross-functional project execution. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguous environments, creates structure from complexity, and ensures accountability across Finance, Product Management, Engineering, Program Management, and Accounting & Revenue Operations.
Responsibilities
- Commercial Launch & Cross-Functional Execution
- Support Finance readiness for commercial product and go-to-market launches.
- Coordinate Finance activities across Product Management, Engineering, Finance PMO, and Accounting & Revenue Operations.
- Organize Finance deliverables, dependencies, risks, milestones, and open issues throughout project lifecycles.
- Track action items, decisions, owners, due dates, and follow-up activities to ensure execution stays on schedule.
- Proactively drive outstanding work items to completion to maintain project momentum.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Coordinate internal Finance participation in User Acceptance Testing.
- Collect screenshots, testing evidence, validation documentation, and supporting artifacts.
- Document defects and coordinate issue resolution within the internal team.
- Support post-deployment validation activities.
- Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Produce clear meeting notes capturing decisions, open questions, risks, dependencies, action items, owners, and due dates.
- Create and maintain project trackers and centralized documentation.
- Develop process maps, user guides, business continuity documentation, and training materials.
- Organize information from multiple stakeholders into concise, actionable documentation.
- Operational & Project Support
- Support Finance transformation initiatives through roadmap coordination, process documentation, data gathering, validation, status reporting, and project administration.
- Provide ad hoc operational support.
Primary Areas of Focus: Understanding how commercial business events flow into Finance (rather than configuring downstream ERP functionality). The role aims to reduce execution burden for Finance SMEs by owning operational activities such as Finance UAT coordination, commercial launch readiness, cross-system business validation, meeting facilitation, documentation, action item management, and cross-functional follow-up.
