Financial Systems Analyst
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day administration of Oracle EPM planning, EPCM, and strategic modeling applications
- Validate data loads to ensure accuracy and reconciliation between systems
- Manage application configuration, including metadata, dimensions, hierarchies, forms, business rules, and workflows
- Maintain system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolution with IT partners
- Partner with Actuarial, FP&A, and Capital Planning teams to support annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and long-term strategic planning
- Translate financial and business requirements into user-friendly system enhancements and reporting solutions
- Collaborate with IT to support system upgrades, patches, and testing of new developments as needed
- Support financial reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analysis within EPM and related reporting tools
- Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in financial reporting, system administration, or supporting Oracle EPM or similar planning tools
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across Finance, IT, and business teams
Preferred
- Experience with Oracle EPM modules
- Familiarity with Smart View or data integration tools
- Experience with PeopleSoft, Workday, or other ERP systems
- Knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
About the Role

Requirements

Benefits
Independence offers a Hybrid work model where Associates work in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) and remotely 2 days a week (Monday & Friday).
