Financial Systems Analyst

Contract position based in Foster City, CA. Hybrid schedule: Tuesday–Thursday on-site, Monday and Friday remote.

About the role

The Senior Systems Analyst will collaborate with business partners and IT teams in a high-volume payment transaction processing environment to develop business requirements and user stories supporting revenue system solutions. This role leads multiple concurrent system projects, performs User Acceptance Testing and validation of system changes, supports revenue process transformations, conducts data analysis, streamlines reporting and operational processes, and develops expertise in revenue management systems. The position requires effective communication with management, support for financial controls and SOX compliance, and subject-matter expertise related to testing and functionality of revenue systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business partners and IT teams to develop business requirements and user stories.
• Lead multiple concurrent system projects and perform User Acceptance Testing and validation of system changes.
• Support revenue process transformations and conduct data analysis.
• Streamline reporting and operational processes.
• Develop expertise in revenue management systems.
• Communicate effectively with management and support financial controls and SOX compliance.
• Provide subject matter expertise related to testing and functionality of revenue systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of business and/or systems analysis experience.
• 5+ years of experience in revenue operations, billing, or system support.
• Experience developing business requirements and user stories.
• Strong communication and data analysis skills.
• Experience working with IT and business teams to clarify requirements.
• Experience using JIRA to manage testing defects.
• Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Systems, Accounting, or Finance.

Skills

• Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB) and Oracle Customer Care & Billing.
• Pricing, invoicing, reporting, and master data processes.
• Proficiency in Portuguese and Spanish.
• M&A / acquired entity integration.

Pay

$58.00 – $63.58 per hour.
