About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Systems Administrator to manage, support, and enhance a suite of enterprise financial applications within a professional services environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on systems professional who enjoys driving process improvements, supporting critical financial operations, and leading system modernization initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support financial, billing, accounting, and practice management applications.
- Manage system configurations, user security, workflows, and application performance.
- Lead upgrades, testing, implementations, and vendor support activities.
- Develop reports, integrations, data imports/exports, and automation solutions to improve efficiency.
- Partner with Finance and IT teams to optimize processes and enhance system capabilities.
- Ensure data integrity through validation, reconciliations, and ongoing system maintenance.
- Support financial audits, year-end processing, and compliance requirements.
- Participate in strategic projects involving application upgrades, cloud migrations, and financial systems transformation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 7+ years of financial systems administration experience within a law firm, professional services, or similar environment.
- Strong expertise with legal or professional services financial systems, including Elite 3E, Aderant, SAP, or comparable platforms.
- Experience supporting expense management and time-entry applications.
- Advanced SQL and database management skills.
- Strong reporting and analytics experience, including Power BI and advanced Excel.
- Experience with system integrations, data migrations, and cloud-based ERP or financial platform implementations.
- Solid understanding of accounting operations, financial processes, and data governance best practices.
