Job Summary
Join our Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, reporting to the Director of Corporate FP&A, as a senior individual contributor with end-to-end ownership of enterprise operating expense planning, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting. The role serves as a trusted resource for their peers, helping elevate analytical quality and strengthen process discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead core FP&A processes and monthly financial analysis, ensuring the integrity of financial results through validating assumptions, reconciling outputs, identifying anomalies, and applying strong accounting and finance principles.
- Own the annual operating expense planning and forecasting processes, including allocation methodologies, trend analysis and development of deep expertise in underlying financial drivers and details.
- Influence without direct authority to lead complex initiatives from concept through execution, create structure in ambiguous situations, and ensure critical deliverables and milestones remain on track.
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, consistency, and reporting quality.
Skills And Background You'll Need
- Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field required, Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, FP&A, financial reporting, accounting, or related financial analysis functions.
- Financial and Accounting Knowledge: Strong financial and accounting knowledge with the ability to independently evaluate results and challenge assumptions.
- Leadership and Communication: Experience leading complex financial processes, managing multiple workstreams, maintaining momentum, and communicating status effectively. Clear and concise communication skills with experience preparing executive-level analyses, presentations, and recommendations.
- Industry Experience: Financial services or insurance industry experience, including enterprise-level FP&A and operating expense management preferred.
- Technical Skills: CPA, CFA, and/or experience leveraging or implementing Workday, Power BI, Tableau, Adaptive Planning, Hyperion, or similar reporting and planning tools preferred.
- Time Zone: Ability to work within Pacific, Mountain, or Central Time Zones preferred.

Salary Range
$109,750.00 - $160,500.00
