Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting systems, including cost allocations and periodic general journal entries
• Create budgets and financial forecasting/projections
• Supervise client accounting and finance staff, as required
• Handle internal and external financial reporting, including annual closing, analysis, and audit assistance
• Assist with grant management, accounting, and reporting
• Participate in internal management meetings, including board and related committee meetings
• Build relationships internally to foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration
• Provide a “wow” experience to every client
• Contribute to the success of clients’ organizations

Desired Skills, Values & Experiences

• 5+ years of relevant audit experience in public accounting or a public sector entity
• Understanding of GASB and government fund accounting, client business systems, and industry requirements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to self‑direct and manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Ability to lead and motivate staff and senior‑level associates
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Licensed CPA or other certification highly desirable, but not required
• Career‑oriented and seeking advancement
