About the role

This position is responsible for providing comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help them achieve their financial goals. Responsibilities include triaging client leads, making referrals to business partners, meeting with clients to review financial and investment goals, building financial plans, and recommending brokerage products. This role requires SAFE Act registration, including background checks and ongoing compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Works with clients to plan short and long-term financial goals by building a financial plan with brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking or money-managed solutions.
  • Recommends banking and investment strategies aligned with client financial goals and needs.
  • Triages client requests and makes referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds.
  • Mitigates and controls risk as part of daily activities.
  • Identifies and engages potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele.
  • Provides coaching and feedback to referral partners based on knowledge of client needs and recommended product services.

Requirements

  • Currently holds Series 7 & 66 (63 & 65 in lieu of 66) licenses. If missing the 66, an offer may be extended conditional on passing the missing series within 60 days.
  • At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services.
  • At least one year of experience in the financial services industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
  • Proven ability to set and accomplish goals, build strong relationships, and collaborate effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging all clients.
  • Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability to new information and a solutions-oriented mindset for clients.
  • Efficient time and capacity management.
  • Thorough and thoughtful incorporation of regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term client strategies.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent (minimum education requirement).
  • Desired: Bilingual (Spanish).
  • Desired: Strong computer skills with the ability to multitask in a demanding environment.
  • Desired: At least three years of experience in the financial services industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
  • Desired: Additional professional designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and/or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC).
  • Desired: Insurance licenses.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday and rotating Saturdays.
  • 1st shift (United States of America).
  • 40 hours per week.

This position is open for the entire market. Training will occur at one financial center, followed by a potential phone-based role until a permanent financial center location is assigned within a reasonable commuting distance, as permitted by applicable law.
