About the role

As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), your journey begins with obtaining your Securities Industry licenses, including dedicated and personalized classes for your Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 Exams. Once licensed, you will learn foundational skills to advise clients on their complex financial needs and guide them with tailored solutions.

This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. You will be required to register with the federal registry system and submit to a background check. Failure to maintain SAFE Act registration may result in termination.

The following laws or regulations restrict or prohibit hiring individuals with certain criminal histories for this role: FDIC, Safe Act/Loan Originators, and FINRA.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 licenses within specified timelines (SIE within 30 days, Series 7 and 66 within 120 days).
  • Develop foundational advisory skills, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships.
  • Deliver comprehensive financial advice, considering clients’ complex financial situations and guiding them toward solutions.
  • Work in a financial center to provide core banking and investment solutions while adhering to Bank of America’s client care approach.
  • Grow and deepen client relationships within a portfolio, progressing to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II upon success.
  • Collaborate with banking and investment partners to connect clients with solutions from Bank of America and Merrill.
  • Provide end-to-end financial advice, conduct client reviews, and recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals.
  • Leverage relationships with one out of two U.S. households to grow your business.

Requirements

  • Aptitude for obtaining required industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 66).
  • Self-discipline in managing time and workload effectively.
  • Experience in cultivating client relationships, assessing needs, and recommending solutions.
  • Ability to build strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on prioritizing clients’ interests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to new technologies or applications.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (minimum education requirement).
  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) (desired).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience (desired).

Schedule

Monday – Friday with rotating Saturdays. 1st shift, 40 hours per week.
