About the role

As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), your journey begins with obtaining your Securities Industry licenses through dedicated and personalized classes for your Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 Exams. Once licensed, you will learn foundational skills to become an advisor, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, and guiding clients with advice and solutions tailored to their complex financial needs.

After reaching key milestones, you will work in a financial center, delivering Bank of America’s core banking and investment solutions. The Academy will support your development with programs, tools, and resources throughout your career. Successful FSA I advisors typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where they deepen client relationships, and may advance into other roles within Bank of America and Merrill.

This position requires SAFE Act registration, including a background check. Training will occur at one financial center, followed by a potential phone-based role until a permanent financial center location is assigned within a reasonable commuting distance.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 licenses within specified timelines (SIE within 30 days, Series 7 and 66 within 120 days).
  • Build and manage client relationships, assessing needs and recommending financial solutions.
  • Deliver end-to-end financial advice, including client reviews and presentations, to help clients achieve their financial goals.
  • Collaborate with banking and investment partners to connect clients with Bank of America and Merrill solutions.
  • Leverage relationships with one out of two U.S. households to grow your business.
  • Use a consultative approach to systematically identify client needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Interact with banking customers, small business owners, and higher net worth clients.

  • Aptitude for obtaining required industry licenses.

Qualifications

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) (desired).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience (desired).

Schedule

Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays required. 1st shift, 40 hours per week.
