About the role
The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role at Bank of America involves obtaining necessary securities industry licenses, learning foundational advisor skills, and eventually working in a financial center to assist clients with banking, investment solutions, and client care.
Responsibilities
- Obtain Securities Industry Essentials [SIE], Series 7, and Series 66 licenses through structured lessons and dedicated study time.
- Build and manage client relationships, consider complex financial pictures, and provide advice and solutions to help clients achieve their financial goals.
- Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to connect clients with solutions provided by Bank of America and Merrill.
- Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice, deliver client reviews/presentations with confidence, and recommend strategies to help clients achieve their financial goals and life priorities.
- Work in a financial center, interacting with banking customers, small business owners, and higher net worth clients.
- Leverage relationships with one out of two households in the U.S. to help grow your business.
- Train at one financial center and potentially start in a phone-based capacity before moving to a location within a reasonable commuting distance.
Requirements
- Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience preferred.
