About the role

This position is responsible for providing comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help them achieve their financial goals. You will triage client leads, make referrals to business partners based on client needs and asset thresholds, and meet with clients to review financial and investment goals. The role requires SAFE Act registration, including background checks and maintaining good standing. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.

Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to plan short and long-term financial goals by building a financial plan with brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking or money-managed solutions.
  • Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client financial goals and needs.
  • Triage client requests and make referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds.
  • Mitigate and control risk as part of daily activities.
  • Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners based on knowledge of client needs and recommended product services.

Requirements

  • Currently holds Series 7 & 66 (63 & 65 in lieu of 66) licenses. If missing either 63 or 65, an offer may be extended with the condition of passing the missing series within 60 days.
  • At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services.
  • At least one year of experience in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
  • Ability to set and accomplish goals, build and nurture strong relationships, and collaborate effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging all clients, and managing goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability to new information, efficient time management, and thorough regulatory due diligence.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent secondary school education.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bilingual (Spanish).
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to multitask in a demanding environment.
  • At least three years’ experience in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
  • Additional professional designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and/or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC).
  • Insurance licenses.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday and rotating Saturdays.
  • 1st shift (40 hours per week).

This position is open for the entire market. Training will occur at one financial center, followed by a potential phone-based role until a permanent financial center location is determined within a reasonable commuting distance of your home, as permitted by applicable law.
