Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to plan short and long-term financial goals by building a financial plan with brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money-managed solutions.
  • Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client financial goals and needs.
  • Triage client requests and make referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds.
  • Mitigate and control risk as part of daily activities.
  • Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners based on knowledge of client needs and potential product services recommended.

Requirements

  • Currently holds Series 7 & 66 (63 & 65 in lieu of 66) licenses. If you do not currently hold the 66 but have either a 63 or 65, an offer can be extended with the condition that a passing score is received for the missing series within 60 days.
  • At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services.
  • At least one year of experience working in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.

Qualifications

  • Strong computer skills with an ability to multitask in a demanding environment.
  • At least three years’ experience working in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded (desired).
  • Achieved additional professional designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and/or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) (desired).
  • Obtained insurance licenses (desired).

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday with open availability required.
  • Some Saturdays.
  • 1st shift (United States of America).
  • 40 hours per week.

Education

Minimum requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.

This position is open for the entire market, and the specific Financial Center location will be based on business needs. If offered a position, you will train at one financial center and may begin your role in a phone-based capacity until another financial center location is determined within a reasonable commuting distance of your home, as permitted by applicable law.
