This role provides comprehensive financial advice and customized solutions to help clients achieve their financial goals. Responsibilities include triaging client leads, making referrals to business partners, reviewing financial goals, building financial plans, and recommending brokerage products. This position requires SAFE Act registration, including background checks and federal registry compliance. Failure to maintain registration may result in termination.

Responsibilities

  • Build financial plans with brokerage products (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, banking, and money-managed solutions) to help clients achieve short- and long-term financial goals.
  • Recommend banking and investment strategies aligned with client needs.
  • Triage client requests and refer to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds.
  • Mitigate and control risk in daily activities.
  • Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners based on client needs and recommended product services.

Requirements

  • Currently holds Series 7 & 66 (or 63 & 65 in lieu of 66) licenses. If missing one, a passing score must be achieved within 60 days of hire.
  • At least one year of experience in the investments industry, with in-depth knowledge of investment products and services.
  • At least one year of experience in financial services and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
  • Ability to set and accomplish goals, build strong relationships, and collaborate effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging all clients.
  • Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability to new information and a solutions-oriented mindset for clients.
  • Efficient time and capacity management.
  • Thorough incorporation of regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term client strategies.

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong computer skills with the ability to multitask in a demanding environment.
  • At least three years of experience in financial services and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
  • Additional professional designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and/or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC).
  • Insurance licenses.

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday with open availability required.
  • Some Saturdays.
  • 40 hours per week, 1st shift.

Education

Minimum requirement: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent secondary school education.

This position is open market-wide. Training will occur at one financial center, followed by a potential phone-based role until a permanent financial center location is assigned within a reasonable commuting distance, as permitted by law.
