Financial Services Technology Consulting, SI-SAP Senior Manager
About the role
EY’s Financial Services (“FSO”) teams operate at the intersection of finance, risk, and technology transformation, advising large institutions in Banking, Insurance, and Capital Markets on strategic initiatives that redefine operations and meet regulatory expectations. As a Senior Manager in the SAP Financial Services practice, you will lead program delivery and practice development, drive sales and managed revenue, and mentor consulting staff to deliver end-to-end change that brings digital transformation to life.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional SAP transformation programs (10–20 onsite, 30+ offshore/global) from business case development through go-live.
- Partner with program leads and subject matter advisors to craft cohesive, comprehensive solutions delivered on-time and on-budget.
- Drive firm development initiatives and manage sub-practice areas to expand EY’s SAP Financial Services footprint.
- Develop and coach consulting staff, fostering technical and leadership growth across teams.
- Leverage core S/4 capabilities and AI-based delivery methodologies to enhance client outcomes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience, including 8+ years executing SAP implementations across the full system development lifecycle.
- Proven track record selling and delivering managed revenue in professional services, including strategic RFP responses.
- Experience leading initial program phases: business case development, infrastructure stand-up, and team ramp-up.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience at a financial services company or equivalent client-facing role.
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science, engineering, accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Prior consulting industry experience and at least one full-cycle implementation of a core SAP module.
Skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage multiple threads and teams simultaneously.
- Deep understanding of SAP-based transformation drivers and efficiency levers within financial services.
- Familiarity with AI-based delivery capabilities and methodologies.

Pay
Base salary range in the US: $171,600 – $392,100. In New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento): $205,900 – $445,700. Individual salary determined by education, experience, skills, and geography.
