About the role

EY’s Financial Services (“FSO”) teams operate at the intersection of finance, risk, and technology transformation, advising large institutions in Banking, Insurance, and Capital Markets on strategic initiatives that redefine operations and meet regulatory expectations. As a Senior Manager in the SAP Financial Services practice, you will lead program delivery and practice development, drive sales, and mentor consulting staff while shaping end-to-end digital transformations that deliver organizational benefits beyond isolated technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead program sales and delivery within the SAP Financial Services practice.
  • Develop consulting staff and practice delivery capabilities through coaching and mentoring.
  • Manage multiple concurrent engagements and cross-functional teams, including onsite and offshore resources.
  • Collaborate with program leads and subject matter advisors to deliver cohesive, comprehensive solutions on-time and on-budget.
  • Lead initial program phases such as business case development and infrastructure setup.
  • Leverage AI-based delivery capabilities and methodologies to enhance client outcomes.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional experience, including 8+ years in system implementation execution across the full system development lifecycle.
  • Proven track record leading cross-functional programs with 10–20 onsite and 30+ offshore/global delivery resources.
  • Demonstrated success in sales and delivery of managed revenue in professional services, including strategic RFP responses.
  • Deep understanding of SAP-based transformation and efficiency drivers leveraging core S/4 capabilities.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience at a financial services company or comparable role.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science, engineering, accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Prior consulting industry experience.
  • Full-cycle implementation experience in at least one core SAP module.

Skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills.
  • Strong focus on developing staff through mentoring and coaching.
  • Ability to lead multiple workstreams and teams simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with AI-based delivery capabilities and methodologies.

Pay

The base salary range for this role in all US geographic locations is $171,600 to $392,100. In the New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento), the range is $205,900 to $445,700. Individual salaries are determined by education, experience, skills, geography, and other relevant factors.

Schedule

Team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model with an expectation of 40–60% in-person collaboration over the course of an engagement, project, or year.
