The opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementing and optimizing tax compliance and reporting processes to meet business strategy and increase efficiency.
  • Serving as a point of contact for clients, supporting the development of governance and compliance frameworks.
  • Providing tax compliance and reporting support, including tax provision and reform calculations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
  • No less than 2 - 4 years relevant experience or equivalent experience in the financial services industry.
  • CPA license or a licensed Attorney is required or the ability to achieve one of these certifications.
  • Broad exposure to federal income taxation and exposure to state and local tax.
  • Demonstrated expertise in tax compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Awareness of finance compliance and regulation.
  • Understanding of global compliance requirements.
  • Experience with tax reform calculations.
  • Familiarity with outsourcing/co-sourcing models.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Knowledge of tax controversy matters.
  • Experience with tax technology solutions.
  • Understanding of tax accounting and tax provisions.
  • Skills in process transformation.
  • Application of accounting principles and standards.

Pay

  • The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $91,100 to $150,200.
  • The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $109,400 to $170,600.

Schedule

  • Most people in external, client serving roles work together in person 60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
  • You’ll be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
