The opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Implementing and optimizing tax compliance and reporting processes to meet business strategy and increase efficiency.
- Serving as a point of contact for clients, supporting the development of governance and compliance frameworks.
- Providing tax compliance and reporting support, including tax provision and reform calculations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
- No less than 2 - 4 years relevant experience or equivalent experience in the financial services industry.
- CPA license or a licensed Attorney is required or the ability to achieve one of these certifications.
- Broad exposure to federal income taxation and exposure to state and local tax.
- Demonstrated expertise in tax compliance and reporting requirements.
- Awareness of finance compliance and regulation.
- Understanding of global compliance requirements.
- Experience with tax reform calculations.
- Familiarity with outsourcing/co-sourcing models.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
- Knowledge of tax controversy matters.
- Experience with tax technology solutions.
- Understanding of tax accounting and tax provisions.

Pay
- The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $91,100 to $150,200.
- The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $109,400 to $170,600.
Schedule
- Most people in external, client serving roles work together in person 60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
- You’ll be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
