Financial Services Tax - Real Estate Manager
About the role
A career in our Financial Services Tax practice, within Corporate Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business.
Responsibilities
- Advising clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners.
- Helping organisations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties, as well as providing advice on tax implications of deals.
- Helping our Financial Services clients navigate the frequently changing and complex national and international tax environment related to stringent capital requirements, management of operational tax risks, and tax implications of investing in different jurisdictions.
- Helping our clients with their tax structuring while helping to address the challenges of the continuously changing tax world, both locally and globally.
- Providing benefits through digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies.
- Supervising, developing, and coaching teams, managing client service accounts, and driving assigned client engagement workstreams by independently solving and analyzing complex problems to develop top-quality deliverables.
- Leveraging PwC's exceptional technical knowledge and specialization, coupled with industry insights, to solve clients' needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 4 years of experience
- CPA, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity
Skills
- Thorough knowledge of tax compliance for Real Estate Trusts
- In-depth technical skills in real estate tax services
- Experience identifying and addressing client needs
- Building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships
- Success as tax technical business advisor
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Experience with automation and digitization in professional services
- Experience with alternative fee arrangements and pricing strategies
Pay
The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $266,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
