Responsibilities
- Gather, process, and review information from internal teams and external partners—such as insurance companies and attorneys—related to property damage liability.
- Collect, verify, and submit all required property damage claim documentation to the third-party administrator for recovery efforts.
- Compile, track, and analyze property damage claims and recovery data to support reporting and decision-making.
- Cook, coordinate with MoDOT staff and the third-party administrator to monitor claim status, manage documentation, and resolve issues.
- Review and interpret policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, conducting research and analysis to understand their impact on accounting practices and financial systems related to property damage activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree: Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Planning, Public Administration, or related field, OR
- Four years of experience in positions related to multimodal transportation, federal or state grant program management, public or transportation administration, transportation planning, accounting, or financial analysis experience.
