This is a Fully Remote Job About Our Client:The organization is a law office operating within the legal services industry. It addresses challenges related to financial management and client billing within legal practice by implementing effective collections and billing dispute resolution strategies. The team collaborates internally and with clients to manage accounts receivable and improve cash flow. About the Opportunity:The FINANCIAL SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE is responsible for developing and executing collection strategies to enhance cash flow and resolve payment disputes. This role works closely with attorneys, staff, and clients, ensuring accurate billing reconciliation and managing outstanding receivables. The position plays a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting the organization's financial operations remotely. Responsibilities:Review and reconcile billing, accounts receivable, and work-in-progress dataDevelop and implement collection strategies to reduce outstanding receivablesCommunicate with clients regarding invoices, payment status, and billing inquiriesInvestigate and resolve billing issues and payment disputesMonitor electronic billing submissions and prepare accounts receivable and collections reportsMaintain accurate account records and collection notesNegotiate payment arrangements and escalate issues per policiesCollaborate with management and stakeholders to improve processesPerform additional duties and special projects as assigned Requirements:Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience with college-level accounting courseworkMinimum of 3 years collections experience in a professional services firmExperience with insurance carriers and knowledge of SIRs/deductibles preferredExperience with BillBlast and Aderant preferredStrong attention to detail and ability to work independentlyIntermediate Excel skills including V-Lookup and Pivot TablesExcellent communication skills for interaction with attorneys, staff, and clientsAbility to multitask, prioritize, and manage competing deadlines Pay Range and Compensation Package:Expected salary range is $65,000 to $85,000Actual compensation determined based on market location, experience, skills, and qualifications Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
