About the role
Financial Service Representatives are one of the primary points of contact for SCU members. They are responsible for creating an exceptional member experience by engaging with members who walk into the branch, over the phone and through outbound calling efforts. During their conversations, Financial Service Representatives are to educate members on the products and services SCU has to offer and resolve any questions or issues that arise.
Responsibilities
- Identify, educate, present and cross-sell SCU products and services to new and existing members in accordance with SCU’s member engagement model.
- Meet individual sales and operational goals as well as assist the branch team in achieving branch goals.
- Maintain cross-functional capabilities.
- Process financial transitions for members including opening and closing of accounts.
- Input, review, negotiate and close member loan application requests.
- Process deposits and withdrawals from accounts.
- Efficiently perform all teller duties as needed.
- Daily open and close his/her teller terminal, account for cash assigned, receive, disburse cash.
- Accurately balance to teller terminal close report and remit daily work to appropriate supervisor for disposition.
- Perform required OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) screens as outlined in the Non-Member Verafin Processing policy and report any positive matches to the BSA Group.
- Comply with BSA requirements by completing CTR and SAR.
- Foster and maintain relationships with members.
- Provide prompt, professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous member service.
- Investigate member concerns, research, and recommend a resolution.
- Ensure we meet expectations with member service satisfaction results.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one year of customer service experience.
- Personal computer experience to include Microsoft Office products.

Pay
Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Full-time | Monday–Saturday, Saturday rotation as scheduled.
Work Location
Status: Fully on-site at the Ladue, MO Branch.
