Financial Services Reporting & Reconciliation Analyst
About the role
This is a hybrid role based in Grandview Heights, Ohio, requiring on-site presence at least two days per week. Candidate must reside within a 35 mile radius of this location. This role does not qualify for employer sponsored work authorization, and Nationwide does not participate in the STEM OPT extension program.
Responsibilities
- Collects, analyzes, verifies, researches and recommends solutions to processing and booking problems and reports through daily analysis.
- Balances and reconciles various cases and suspense accounts to the general ledger.
- Prepares and analyzes financial reports and statements.
- Ensures accuracy of reporting and reconciliation for various businesses, products and functions.
- Trains and cross-trains other team members on work functions and processing procedures.
- Acts as technical source to answer questions from other departments.
- May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Undergraduate studies in accounting, finance or related field.
- Two years of experience in accounting, finance, tax reporting or customer service.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate both internally and externally.
- Ability to set work priorities that conform with established standards.
- Regularly and consistently demonstrates the Nationwide Values.
Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence. Staffing exceptions must be approved by the hiring manager’s leader and HR Business Partner.

Pay
The national salary range for this role is $49,100.00–$91,300.00. The expected starting salary range is $49,100.00–$73,700.00. Placement within this range will be determined by skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope, complexity, location, and other conditions of employment.
