Financial Services-Managing Consultant

About the role

Guidehouse's Commercial Financial Services practice seeks a Managing Consultant with a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in banking or commercial financial services consulting, particularly with GSIBs. Key responsibilities include driving projects, client management, and solution implementation. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Drive projects and solution implementation
• Support operational meetings with client sponsors and consulting team / leaders
• Lead, coach, and mentor more junior consultants
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal executives
• Generate high-quality work within tight deadlines
• Manage client service delivery teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of experience in banking or commercial financial services consulting, especially with GSIBs
• Experience in operational risk, compliance, banking regulations, and risk and controls assessments
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Management consulting experience is a plus

Qualifications

• CPA, Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or other relevant certifications are nice to have
• An MBA or MA/MS degree in a related field is a plus

Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $122,000.00 - $204,000.00. Benefits include medical, Rx, dental & vision insurance, personal and family sick time, company-paid holidays, a 401(k) retirement plan, and more.

Pay

$122,000.00 - $204,000.00 annually

Schedule

Approximately 3 days per week onsite at clients' sites in New York City; must be willing to travel if not local to the New York City metropolitan area.
