About the role

The Insurance Actuarial Advisory Service (IAAS), Property & Casualty (PC) practice within FSO is seeking a Manager with experience in actuarial pricing, data analytics, and operational management.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver EY’s actuarial transformation and premium acceleration service offerings
  • Develop efficiencies throughout the practice
  • Streamline the operational aspects of the group
  • Participate on engagement teams focused on reserving, actuarial opinion and regulatory services
  • Predictive Modeling and customer analytics
  • Actuarial Transformation® and modeling
  • Rate setting all lines of business
  • Financial forecasting, valuation
  • Product development
  • Mentor and develop junior team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields
  • Approximately 6+ years of experience in an actuarial-oriented position
  • A minimum of 2 years of project or people management responsibility
  • Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society required, Fellowship preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience with Excel, SAS, VBA and/or C++
  • Strong writing, presentation, conceptual, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to understand and persuade on complex subjects both in writing and verbally
  • Experience working in a team environment on project-based work

  • Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge
  • Develop a strong personal brand and enhance the EY brand

Qualifications

Pay

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $146,500 to $268,600. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $175,700 to $305,200. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
