Responsibilities
- Analyze and advise on increasingly complex tax operations for a diverse client portfolio.
- Identify and communicate potential opportunities and risks to clients.
- Research and stay updated on current market trends to maintain credibility as a trusted advisor.
- Build and manage client relationships, tailoring advice to specific needs.
- Develop and implement clear, intelligent plans to improve clients’ tax activities.
- Supervise a team of professionals, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to reach their full potential.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- A CPA certification or membership in a state bar.
- Seven to ten years of real estate tax experience in a professional services environment.
- Extensive knowledge in partnership taxation, REITs taxation and qualification, partnership allocations, tax compliance, due diligence, acquisition/disposition planning and structuring.
- Experience managing budgets, people, and projects.
- Business development within the market.
Qualifications
- Proven record of excellence in a professional services or tax organization.
- Technical writing and research experience in a tax context.
- The ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex projects.
- Strong influencing skills and the confidence to question existing processes.
- Willingness to travel as needed and work in a balanced hybrid environment.

The base salary range for this role in the US is $147,400 to $336,800, with a range of $177,000 to $382,800 in certain regions. Individual salaries are determined based on a variety of factors including education, experience, and location.
