Financial Services Coordinator (a/k/a Senior Teller)

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Services Coordinator (a/k/a Senior Teller) for our Streeterville Branch.

Responsibilities

• Provide internal sales support to the Financial Services Department.
• Deliver excellent member service to credit union members and guests.
• Multi-task and receive/complete work through online, telephone, in-person, mail, fax, and other channels.
• Support the Teller line, including branch balancing, cash ordering, and ATM reconciliation.
• Ensure attention to detail in completing reports, projects, and other tasks accurately and timely.
• Analyze, audit, and report on personal bankers' pending lending applications and new account opening/onboarding follow-up.
• Audit, input, and process new member welcome packets.
• Prepare and deliver Truth-in-Lending initial disclosures, Adverse Action Notices, withdrawn loan surveys, thank-you notes, follow-up letters, etc.
• Maintain knowledge of First Northern’s consumer/personal banking deposit and loan products and services.
• Understand all Streeterville Branch operations and support needed to maintain operational efficiencies.
• Refer members to personal bankers for new products and services.
• Perform administrative, clerical, and data entry duties, including filing, mailing, scanning, and other assigned tasks.
• Assist with loan applications, including reviewing and booking.

Requirements

• Enjoy working with people.
• Solid communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Banking/Financial Services experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Pay

Starting at $18.00 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week including Saturdays.
