Responsibilities
- Lead projects end-to-end to solve real-world payment challenges, from wires and cross-border payments and emerging capabilities such as on-chain correspondent banking.
- Collaborate with diverse teams and clients, fostering innovation and inclusive work environments.
- Build strong client relationships and deliver solutions that drive measurable impact.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, sharing your knowledge and passion.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and help shape EY’s thought leadership in payments.
Requirements
- 6-8 or more years of experience in payments, whether in banking or financial services consulting, with deep knowledge of clearing and settlement, SWIFT, FedWire, CHIPs, ACH, payments infrastructure, treasury and cash management.
- Hands-on experience with regulatory requirements and payments modernization initiatives and change management.
- A strong interest or experience in enabling global 24x7x365 payments capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Proven leadership experience and project management skills.
- Willingness to travel (up to 50%), both domestically and internationally.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- CPA certification preferred.

Pay
The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $128,400 to $235,300. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $154,000 to $267,400. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
Schedule
We offer a flexible work arrangement, including a hybrid model where most people in external, client-serving roles work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
