About the role
We currently are seeking a highly motivated manager to lead client engagement teams, work with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services and manage business development activities on strategic and global priority accounts, with a specific focus on claims transformation.
Responsibilities
- Leading large-scale client engagements. Consistently deliver quality client services. Drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget. You’ll monitor progress, manage risk, and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
- Manage expectations of client service delivery.
- Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business and P&C insurance and claims industry.
- Effectively lead and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Provide constructive on-the-job feedback/coaching to team members. Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment. Play an active role in counseling and mentoring junior consultants within the organization.
- Generate new business opportunities. Understand EY and its service lines and actively assess/present ways to serve clients. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Develop relationships with team members across all EY practices to serve client needs.
- Demonstrate deep technical claims capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate to new knowledge. Possess in-depth business acumen. Remain current on new developments in claims advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.
- Understand/communicate complex claim operational issues. Stay informed of and apply professional standards and firm policies.
- Develop a strong personal brand and enhance the EY brand by writing articles, participating in industry groups, and speaking at conferences.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree and approximately 6 years of related work experience; or a master's degree and approximately 5 years of related work experience
- A minimum of 5+ years of delivery experience working with multiple project teams
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience working with P&C insurance carriers specifically commercial and specialty line carriers across the claims function
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and manage high level relationships
- Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise teams of business advisors through all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements definition, process mapping, business capability re-engineering, application mapping etc.
- Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, P&C insurance claims industry practices, and emerging technology
- Strong writing, presentation, conceptual, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Travel to client site as necessary
Qualifications
- A degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, engineering, management information systems, economics, or related disciplines; MBA or MS degree preferred

Pay
- Base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $128,400 to $235,300. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $154,000 to $267,400.
