Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary advisor for an established book of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth client relationships.
- Develop trusted, long-term relationships through proactive communication and comprehensive financial planning.
- Conduct client review meetings and deliver personalized wealth management recommendations.
- Partner with clients to develop financial strategies addressing retirement, investment, tax, estate, insurance, and business planning needs.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial plans utilizing planning software and internal resources.
- Work collaboratively with the firm's investment team to implement appropriate portfolio strategies.
- Maintain a fiduciary, fee-only advisory approach while delivering holistic financial advice.
- Cook up with internal specialists to provide integrated planning solutions.
- Grow assets under management by identifying opportunities within the existing client base.
- Develop new client relationships through referrals, centers of influence, and strategic networking.
- Support client retention initiatives while contributing to the firm's overall growth objectives.
- Participate in business development efforts focused on expanding relationships with families and privately held business owners.
- Partner closely with operations, client service, planning, and investment professionals to deliver an exceptional client experience.
- Mentor junior advisors and contribute to the development of less experienced team members.
- Collaborate with leadership on best practices, client strategies, and firm initiatives.
- Support a culture centered on teamwork, collaboration, and exceptional client service.
Qualifications
- 9–10+ years of experience as a Financial Advisor or Wealth Advisor.
- Active Series 65 license required. Candidates with a Series 7/66 combination will be considered if willing to allow the Series 7 registration to lapse.
- Experience within a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) environment.
- Comprehensive financial planning experience.
- Strong relationship management and business development skills.
- Demonstrated success serving affluent, high-net-worth, and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
- A stable career progression with a strong tenure history.
- Preferred: Experience utilizing MoneyGuidePro, experience with Orion portfolio management software, experience serving privately held business owners and multi-generational families, existing client relationships or transferable book of business (book purchase may be considered).
