Financial Reporting Specialist

Role & Responsibilities
- Provide functional and technical services to Finance and Business stakeholders, including requirements definition, design, implementation, and support of Oracle Cloud Financials Application.
- Manage and oversee configuration migrations between different instances and environments.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and training materials.
- Implement and recommend process changes/improvements within the financial close process.
- Support SOX compliance and respond to audits, collaborating with internal and external audit teams.
- Support business needs surrounding the monthly close process, planning and forecasting, quarterly/annual financial statements, and audits.
- Train and support end users and other team members.
- Participate in cross-functional projects, acting as the financial systems lead.
- Build cooperative working relationships with relevant internal and external parties.
- Act as a liaison between finance, IT, and other relevant departments to ensure financial systems meet user needs and comply with financial controls.
Skills
- Relevant experience in accounting, finance, or similar fields working in finance systems.
- Basic understanding of Accounting and Finance related concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Ability to complete multiple tasks and manage a high volume of work by established deadlines.
- Adaptable and able to adjust to unexpected circumstances.
- Able to multitask and proactively research remediations to questions or problems as they arise.
- Experience with Oracle Financials from a functional standpoint, preferred (Oracle Cloud Experience, preferred).
- Experience with Oracle ERP and/or EPM modules such as FAH, General Ledger, FCCS, EPBCS, EDM, and PCM (preferred).
- Experience with Oracle reporting tools such as SmartView, Narrative Reporting, OTBI, BI Publisher, or Financial Reporting (preferred).
- Understanding of Oracle modules configurations and integrations points.
- Experience with PL/SQL skills.
- Insurance experience.
Work Experience & Qualifications
- 1-3 years Functional Financial Systems experience.
- 1-3 years of experience working with Oracle Financials from a functional standpoint, preferred (Oracle Cloud Experience, preferred).
- Experience with some of the following Oracle ERP and/or EPM modules: FAH, General Ledger, FCCS, EPBCS, EDM, and PCM (Preferred).
- Experience with one or more Oracle reporting tools such as SmartView, Narrative Reporting, OTBI, BI Publisher, or Financial Reporting (Preferred).
- Understanding of Oracle modules configurations and integrations points.
- Experience & creativity in troubleshooting data conversions, integrations, and/or software application problems.
- College degree in Accounting, Finance, or MIS preferred.
Pay
The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $205,000 annually. The rate of compensation offered will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications, and work location. Schedule
This role is available on a full-time, regular time basis in Warren, NJ.
