Financial Reporting Manager

About the role

This person will be heavily involved with preparing the SEC filings and monthly reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, and related disclosures).
• Oversee monthly consolidated financial reporting and close processes.
• Manage and develop a team of senior and staff accountants.
• Research and resolve complex technical accounting and reporting issues under U.S. GAAP.
• Ensure compliance with SEC reporting requirements and implement reporting best practices.
• Support external audits, quarterly reviews, and transaction-related reporting requirements.
• Oversee reporting for joint ventures and other special projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required, MBA preferred.
• 8+ years of public accounting and/or industry experience.
• Prior leadership experience managing accounting teams.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and financial consolidations.
• Experience with SAP, BPC, and/or Workiva (Wdesk) preferred.
• Energy industry experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong analytical and communication skills.
