Financial Reporting Manager

The Financial Reporting Manager will be hybrid in Glen Allen, VA. We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Manager to oversee our financial reporting preparation. This role is responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and other ad hoc accounting requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly reporting package including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flows
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements including footnotes
• Cook up reviews and annual audit with external auditors
• Aid in the adoption of new accounting pronouncements
• Perform accounting research and analysis as needed and serve as a technical accounting resource for the Company
• Aid in preparation and review of 401k and statutory financial statements
• Accounting Assist in the monthly accounting close process for certain corporate accounting areas
• Support special projects as needed, such as financial system implementations

Qualifications

• 5 years of public accounting and/or financial reporting experience, preferably in a multinational environment that is either publicly traded or private equity backed
• Big 4 experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles
• Experience with Hyperion Financial Management is a plus
• Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, communication, and leadership skills

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA required
