Overview
The Financial Reporting Manager oversees the Reporting function, which includes all legal-entity reporting for Moët Hennessy USA. This role works closely with the Accounting Team and is responsible for ensuring accuracy and appropriateness of P&L, balance sheet, and supplemental schedules.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the Reporting function, including all legal-entity reporting.
- Reviews and approves P&L, balance sheet, and supplemental schedules for accuracy and appropriateness before submission to Group Consolidation.
- Determines responsibilities and deadlines related to the month-end closing process and communicates within the department and to external departments.
- Supervises the Reporting Analyst in the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and hard close financial and supplementary information.
- Calculates, reviews, and approves P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and supplemental schedules for accuracy and appropriateness before submission to Group Consolidation.
- Manages the implementation and training of system updates and changes, including providing management briefings.
- Maintains an understanding of all internal control policies and ensures compliance of relevant accounting processes.
- Partners with the Accounting and Reporting Director to develop and communicate vision and initiatives to motivate and develop the department.
- Provides collaborative support and guidance to the Accounting and Finance teams, building cross-functional partnerships to meet corporate objectives.
- Develops professional skills and inspires peak performance in the Reporting Analyst.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degrees, or MBA Degree and/or years of equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years of Accounting/Finance experience.
- Strong people leader with a proven track record of developing talent in a dynamic and diverse work environment.
- Highly organized with the ability to work autonomously as needed.
- Regularly acts as a business partner by providing commercial solutions.
- Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; must be able to work with all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degrees, or MBA Degree and/or years of equivalent experience.
- Professional Experience & Skills: 5-7 years of Accounting/Finance experience.
